Nagpur, Maharashtra — In a significant development for the region’s IT ecosystem, C&R Software — a company associated with Canada-based tech giant Constellation Software Inc. — has inaugurated its Global Capacity Centre (GCC) in Nagpur. This marks a major milestone for the city as it joins the growing list of Indian locations hosting strategic tech hubs for global firms.
According to a report by The Times of India, this is C&R Software’s second centre in India, the first being in Bengaluru. The new Nagpur facility is expected to play a critical role in the company’s global operations, focusing on product engineering, professional services, product support, and research and development activities.
“We see Nagpur as a fast-emerging IT destination with strong talent availability. This GCC will serve as a strategic unit to drive our growth and innovation,” said Vikas Sharma, Managing Director and Country Head at C&R Software, as quoted in the TOI article. 
C&R Software specializes in providing technology solutions for the debt recovery and collections sector — a niche but growing area in fintech and enterprise software.
The establishment of the GCC is expected to boost local employment, infrastructure development, and further investments into Nagpur’s IT sector, reinforcing its position as a viable alternative to traditional tech hubs like Bengaluru, Hyderabad, and Pune.
